From its early beginnings, founded in 1911 by Douglas Macmillan, Macmillan Cancer Support has grown to become the largest cancer care and support charity in the UK.
As well as helping with the medical needs of people affected by cancer, Macmillan also looks at the social, emotional and practical impact cancer can have, and campaigns for better cancer care. Macmillan Cancer Support’s goal is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer in the UK.
World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support’s flagship fundraising event. Each year, members of the general public host their own coffee morning and the donations received go towards Macmillan services. In addition we would like the children to be involved by donating a minimum of £1 to the charity and in return they can attend school on Wednesday in non-school uniform! For addition information on the coffee morning and information on how you can participate please contact Gabby Fletcher-Ralph on 01980 867 852 or via email on email@example.com. Please visit the website for more details http://coffee.macmillan.org.uk/ WEDNESDAY 30TH SEPTEMBER Coffee morning 9.30—11.00, village hall.
Our children will be wearing Non-school uniform on that day in return for a £1.00 or more donation. Thank you all for your support.
